Echoes of Journey

In this series Echoes of Journey inspired by my trip to Italy in 2024, I seek to capture the silent yet profound conversations between the landscapes, architecture, and culture of Italy and my own experiences as an artist. Each painting is an exploration of my personal connection to this timeless land—its vibrant cities, quiet alleyways, and ancient ruins—and how these elements reflect the inner dialogues that unfold during travel.

The echoes within the landscapes of Rome, Florence, and Bologna I visited speak to me not only through their beauty but through their histories, their stories etched into every stone, column, and pathway. These echoes resonate deeply with my own narrative—shaped by a blend of cultural backgrounds, past experiences, and the ever-changing present.

As I paint, I listen to these echoes, allowing them to guide my hand and reveal the interplay between the past and the present, between what is known and what is yet to be discovered. Echoes of Journeys is my attempt to express this unique, intimate dialogue—one that bridges time, space, and cultures—through the medium of paint and paper.
